We just came out of ANUGA trade show this week. The exhibition took place in Cologne, Germany from 7 – 11 October.
So, I just took a little bit of rest coming from a two-week spree before trying to sum up all that had transpired during the show.
ANUGA was amazingly fun and extraordinary. Over 165 thousand traders, businesses, and industry leaders gathered in Cologne during the show coming from 198 countries.
What is important is that these people were not passerby or spectators. But, they were world’s top notch decision makers and food industry leaders from around the world.
We received considerable enthusiasm about our DANAYO brand long-life yogurt. Also, our baby formula and infant nutrition items under DANALAC brand.
DANA Dairy booth was quite crowed until the last minute. And, people stopped by from all around the world such as North Africa, Far East, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

There were times when our booth at hall 10.1 – stand A-050 couldn’t hold any more people and our sales and staff were forced to continue their discussions in the hall way.
There were time that one sales representative had to manage being in multiple meeting all at the same time
But, no worries. Everyone walked away with a DANA Cow.
And for many who desired, a refreshing bottle of DANA Milk 250ml was offered for just stopping by.
They sometimes drank the milk right at the stand, and others just took it in their sacks to enjoy it later at the hotel.
ANUGA was also a great place to meet again with old friends, colleagues, and friendly and smiley competitors.
HALLOUMI Traditional Cheese from Cyprus – Our door-to-door neighbor at ANUGA couple of years ago – was just a couple of stands away offering us great cheese as we exchanged events and progress in our work during the past two years.
Another new friend was FAGE Greek 100% Natural Yogurt – a delicious and rich yogurt that made our mouth water every time that we walked by the stand.
And again from Greece, we had Mandrekas Authentic Greek Yogurt with Fruits exhibiting on our right hand side.
And our friends at GREEK FETA P.D.O on our right side.
But we can never forget the pizza by TRE STGELLE Mozzarella Cheese during lunchtime every day. They had a booth right at the left end corner of the hall. Wonderful pizza.
All in all, we enjoyed the show and it was a great success. It was wonderful to see all old friends and customer as well as seeing new ones.
